Customer Review: Mediocre Product; Not Reccomended
There are several problems with this sleeve, some functional, some aesthetic.
First, the case impinges on the trackpad and mouse buttons. Not enough to make it unusable, but more than enough to be annoying.
Second, the elastic bands that hold the sleeve to the lid tend to come loose when you open the machine. If no special care is taken then the sleeve top will probably flop back off the lid. This is also prone to happen whenever you adjust the angle of the screen.
The fact that the elastic bands don’t slide back on very easily only exacerbates this problem. Moreover, if you are carrying memory or business cards in the sleeve top pockets they may fall out when the top slips off.
Third, The way the sleeve fits over the six cell battery looks awkward and is just plain ugly. The sleeve should hinge to either side of the protruding battery, not stretch over it.
Finally, while this sleeve may have (technically) been made from cowhide, it’s a travesty to call this leather. It looks, feels and smells like mediocre fake leather. Mind you, for this price I guess you can’t expect better, but given all the other problems the low quality material adds insult to injury.
Customer Review: Nice surprise.
When I received this case and opened the package, my first impression was quality workmanship, nice leather, put together very well. The Acer Aspire One fits snug in this case, once closed it look’s more like a midsized Day Runner than a laptop case. Inside the top cover there are places where you can put business cards about two and memory cards. I don’t use them but they are there. This is a great buy and a beautiful accessory for the Aspire.

Customer Review: Works Perfectly!
I was leery about using a non-Dell battery in my Inspiron 1501 but was really turned off by Dell’s prices. This battery works perfectly with my computer. I cannot comment as to battery life as I rarely use it over half an hour unplugged but my meter still shows about 90% capacity left over that time. A comparable original Dell battery would have cost at least twice what this one did and I am very glad I bought it.

I purchase this to use with a Dell Inspiron 1501. it fits and it works. I thought that I would have gotten more battery time from it but I was mistaken. I get about 4.5 hours. It price was reasonable.

Customer Review: Did Not Work on Dell Inspiron 6000
When I installed this battery, I got a desktop message saying that the laptop did not recognize the battery and that it would not charge. There was no battery icon on the desktop. I left it plugged in overnight. An amber light kept blinking on the outside of the case. When I unplugged, the laptop turned off and would not start. Sure enough the battery had not charged! I returned the battery to the vendor, Brilliant Store and requested a refund of purchase price and shipping (both ways). Brilliant Store refunded only the purchase price. I am out $11.49 total shipping costs. Buyer beware!

This battery now allows by notebook to go for 5-6 hours without being plugged in. It does make the back of the computer sit higher than before but it actually puts the keyboard in a better typing position. The seller shipped the battery in a timly manner and the product was in good condiiton
