Customer Review: somewhat disatisfied
I bought this battery to replace the original battery for macbook, which had just died. I bought this off Amazon because it was about fifty dollars cheaper than if I were to buy it direct from Apple. The item was shipped very quickly, but I am ultimately disappointed in it. The battery works well, but it does not quite fit properly, almost as if the plastic outer-covering was not cut correctly. Also, that outer-shell separates very easily from the battery, as if it were only attached by very low-quality glue. I have only had the battery for a couple of days, and I have not experienced any problems with the charging aspect of it, but i feel that this was very shoddily made. Next time, I will buy the battery directly from Apple.
Customer Review: Excellent capacity and life.
While travelling, I can use my macbook for 6 hrs working on word prosessing and can watch about 3hrs of DVD playback with earphones. Ofcourse I have to optimise settings like turning off wireless and bluetooth (which aren’t used while in flight), dimming the LCD, closing unnecessary apps etc. Macbook together with this battery is a good piece of engineering from Apple. Only four stars because the battery forms a part of external plastic and isn’t something that slides into a casing. Disadvantage is a slight imperfection in fit.

Customer Review: BEST PURCHASE!
This is one of the best purchases I have EVER made. I pretty much wouldn’t be able to function without my laptop between school and work so having this battery has been a miracle. It lasts me about 5.5 hours and also doubles as a lift on the back of my computer. This is helpful when the little fans are going so the heat escapes easier.
Customer Review: Works great but poor fit
This battery has great life at a great price. I was careful to drain it completely before recharging it 4x per the instructions. However, you do have to be careful to get the battery into the laptop. It doesn’t just quickly and easily snap in and will pop out if you don’t carefully fit it in and be certain that the sliding button is completely pushed over. i would still buy another one.

Customer Review: A Fine, Low-Cost battery
After several months of use I’m happy to report that this battery charges and holds its charge exactly as it should. I can’t detect any difference between this one and the MacIntosh battery that it replaced.
There’s often a difference between a a factory original product and a low-cost replacement but in this case the only difference I can find is the welcome savings.
Customer Review: Not an Apple
This battery is giving me about 20-30 minutes of power on a full charge. The real deal from Apple is spendy, but might be worth it.

I purchased a Dell Lithium Ion Laptop Battery for Inspiron 6000 from Nextop2100 in Nov 2008. Batterry arrived on time, but died the same day after using couple of hours. Nextop agreed to take it back for Refund. But haven’t got the refund after 2 months.
